7 Top Tips for Keeping Momentum This Winter
Keep Playing
Yes, it may sound a bit obvious, but it’s important to keep up the momentum so you can maintain your fitness and improve your golf. Play as often as you can or when the weather allows.
Dress for the Weather
Playing at your best requires feeling comfortable and warm. Waterproofs are obviously useful for when it rains, but they also stop the wind permeating your clothing. Likewise, lots of breathable layers and wet weather gloves to keep your hands warm and dry is essential when playing golf.
Book a Lesson
The off-season is the perfect time to make changes to your game. Our Swing Fix, £10 for 15 minute quick fix coaching lessons include our 20 bay, floodlit, Toptracer Range, practice putting green, short game practice area, chipping green and club custom fit.
Analyse Stats & Set Goals
Take a look at your game this year and try to identify where you can improve, set yourself new goals and see how you can better your technique and fitness.

Introduce a friend
Another great way to stay motivated through the winter is to introduce a friend to golf. Bring them along to the Toptracer Range where they can have a go at hitting some balls, try out a virtual course and even hire a club for just £1 if they don’t have one. You can even get the children involved too as there’s a special, fun Toptracer course for them. ‘Go Fish’ allows them to play individually or as a team to catch each of the 24 different sea creatures and as many stars as possible. Even adults enjoy it too!
