Casual Kitchen Porter

Role Overview

We are seeking a Casual Kitchen Porter to join our kitchen team, covering as and when required for holidays and sickness. This role is essential to maintaining high standards of cleanliness and service within the kitchen at China Fleet Country Club. The China Fleet Country Club is set in 180 acres of beautiful Cornish countryside, just 15 minutes from Plymouth’s city centre. We are a Country Club that offers accommodation, fitness & leisure, golf, dining, hair & beauty, weddings, conference and events. Responsibilities

Washing dishes
Operating the dishwasher - loading and unloading
Mopping floors
Cleaning
Emptying bins
Ensuring a clean and tidy working area
Undertaking any tasks as requested by the Executive Head Chef.

Qualifications

Previous kitchen porter experience (preferred but not essential)
Ability to work efficiently and follow instructions
Reliability and flexibility to cover shifts when required
Good team player with attention to detail
Full training will be provided
