Racquets & Sports

These facilities are available to our members and hotel guests, we pride ourselves on offering some of the best racquet facilities in the Plymouth, Devon and Saltash, Cornwall area. Whether you are a beginner or advanced player, playing for fun or competitively, our courts will ensure you get a top quality workout.

Squash

We have two of the finest glass back squash courts in the South West with a viewing area, available for our members and hotel guests. We run adult and child coaching sessions, have a club night every Tuesday at 6.30pm and two of our very own squash teams.

Tennis

We have two outdoor courts available to our members and hotel guests, along with equipment available from the health club reception. Open to all ages, so younger members and guests can join their parents or other young players on the court. A great game for improving confidence and
co-ordination skills.

Badminton

We have two indoor badminton courts available to our members and hotel guests, along with equipment available from the health club reception. Open to all ages, so younger members and guests can join their parents or other young players on the court. A great game for improving confidence and
co-ordination skills.

Table Tennis

A great sport if you want to enjoy some light exercise with a partner or team of 4. Available for members and hotel guests this is a fast paced game with lots of activity, great for improving hand-eye co-ordination and mental alertness. Play for points or just for fun, suitable for all ages and abilities.

Short Tennis

Available for our members and hotel guests this game is similar to standard tennis, using soft balls, lowered nets and smaller racquets.

Racquet Ball

Available for our members and hotel guests this sport is played with a racquet and hollow ball. Similar to squash with the difference of no out of bounds areas. Enjoy this game in one of our two glass back squash courts equipped with large viewing area.

Short Mat Bowls

Available for our members and hotel guests this is a highly strategic game suitable for all ages. This sport is slow paced and can be very sociable.

Keeping Kids Active

We all know keeping the kids active helps to grow strong bones, maintain a healthy weight and discover the world around them. Best of all, it’s great fun.
All children should be physically active for at least an hour a day. Encourage your child to find activities they enjoy and build physical activity into your family life.
