We don’t want to scare our woodland animals so dogs are not permitted on the course. Maximum of 4 players per group. Children under 12 must be supervised at all times by someone 16 years or over. Only food and drink purchased in The Cabin – Cafe & Bar or golf shop to be consumed on the course.

Woodland Adventure Golf FAQs

Everything you need to know before you tee off for some family fun

How many holes are there?

Our Woodland Adventure Golf course has 18 fun‑filled holes, all set in a woodland theme designed to delight players of all ages.

How long does it take to play a round?

Most groups take around 45 minutes to an hour to complete a round, depending on how competitive (or lucky!) everyone is.

How many people can play together?

You can play in groups of up to four people per hole, making it perfect for families and friends.

Can children play on their own?

Children under the age of 12 must be supervised by an adult at all times while on the course.

Is there any interaction on the course?

Yes. As you make your way around the course, audio sounds are triggered along the way, adding extra surprises and atmosphere. These change throughout the year, so you’ll enjoy something a little different at Easter, Halloween, Christmas, and beyond.

What happens if I’m struggling to finish a hole?

To keep the fun flowing for everyone, we have a maximum of six shots per hole. If you reach six shots, simply pick up your ball and head on to the next hole.

What happens if my ball goes off the course?

If your ball escapes the course, don’t worry. You can place it back where it went off with a one stroke penalty.

What if my ball is too close to the edge or an obstacle?

You can move your ball one club head’s length away from the edge or obstacle without any penalty.

What happens if my ball goes into the water?

Please do not enter the water. Ball retrievers are available around the course so you can safely rescue your ball and continue playing.

Can I bring my own club or ball?

Clubs and balls are included in your booking. You’re welcome to bring your own club if you prefer, but our balls must be used as they are collected at the final hole.

Is a scorecard and pencil provided?

Yes. Each group of up to four players receives one scorecard and pencil. For a greener option, we also encourage using our digital scorecard, which you can access via the website or by scanning the QR code at the start of play.

Are there any discounts available?

Yes. We offer member, Navy, and Marine discounts. Valid ID is required.

Is there a loyalty scheme?

Yes. We currently offer a play three games and get the fourth free loyalty scheme, ideal for regular visitors

Do you run any offers or promotions?

We do. Keep an eye on our website for seasonal offers and promotions, especially at Easter, Halloween, and Christmas when the course takes on a fun new look.
You can also save money by booking our Woodland Adventure Golf and Toptracer bundle, perfect for a day packed with activities.

Can I privately hire the course for events or team building?

Yes. Adventure Golf can be privately hired for parties, events, and team building. Please contact us directly to discuss available packages or view them here:

Are refreshments available?

Yes. Our Adventure Golf cabin café and bar is open from April to September, offering refreshments just steps from the course.

Is there on site parking?

Yes. We have free on site parking, making it easy to arrive and start playing.

What are your opening times?

April to September: 10 am to 8 pm, bookings taken from the Adventure Golf cabin
October to March: 10 am to 6 pm, bookings taken from the Golf Shop

What should I wear?

Comfortable clothing and sensible footwear are recommended, as the course is outdoors
