The county of Devon in the south-west of England is particularly favoured by nature. A Perennial favourite, the region boasts huge areas of fertile farmland with their famous produce of clotted cream and cider; the mysterious highland of Dartmoor National Park; fabulous coastlines and sandy beaches, and more than its fair share of sunshine.

Lower Knapp Farm in the Ronscombe Valley is two miles from Sidbury, a picturesque East Devon village of thatched cottages, butcher/general store, church and public house. The elegant Victorian seaside resort of Sidmouth is five miles away and the busy market town of Honiton, famous for its antique shops, is five miles to the north.

Accommodation

The 15 one, two and three bedroom properties have been sympathetically converted from a substantial Victorian farmhouse and outbuildings to comfortable cottages and apartments. All properties have the use of central washing/ drying facilities.

Leisure Facilities

Lower Knapp Farm has its own clubhouse which is available for guests to use free of charge. It contains a 10 x 4 metre indoor heated pool, with adjacent sauna and conservatory. There is also a games room with table football and pool table, and within the grounds is a small children’s play area.

Local Attractions

Within five minutes’ drive is Sidbury, where there is a general store and a selection of eateries. The towns of Sidford, Sidmouth and Honiton provide more choice.
