Clowance House is set in a beautiful area of Cornwall, amongst hundreds of miles of rugged coastline. It is set in the grounds of an old Manor House close to the village of Praze-en-Beeble. Set in beautifully landscaped gardens of 95 acres with its own 4 acre boating lake, multi-million pound leisure center and 9 hole golf course. Whether you are looking for peace and relaxation or a fun, action packed holiday, we feel Clowance has something to offer everybody, both young and old.

Accommodation

Our beautifully appointed luxury A-Frame Lodges, constructed from rich pine framing, are set in a peaceful woodland clearing, sleeping up to six people. Accommodation includes fitted kitchen, Master bedroom with ensuite, and two further twin bedded rooms. The living area comprises of Lounge/Diner leading to private patio, the lodge also benefits from satellite television, video and hi-fi system. Each lodge has been decorated with rich warm colours, soft Italian leather, carpets of the finest wool and a dining table large enough for dinner parties. There is even a cocktail cabinet for mixing the all-important G&T. A video hire facility is available in the main complex. No pets.

Leisure Facilities

Clowance boasts an indoor heated swimming pool, squash court, gymnasium, sauna, solarium, jacuzzi, restaurant and bar, not to mention outdoor pursuits that include 2 full size tennis courts, 2 Australian "short tennis" courts, badminton court, 9 hole golf course, 4 acre lake plus 97 acres of beautifully landscaped parkland style gardens that include many rare species of trees. Guests will also find the Beauty Oasis a tempting treat, with its range of beauty and pamper treatments available to help you relax and unwind. For the more junior members of your family there is the Clowance fort, with swings, slides, sand pit and much more to keep the toddlers happy. The kids club also has fun filled days of entertainment for the children which allows the adults time to enjoy their holiday as well. And at the end of the day, relax in the club's restaurant and bar or enjoy a fantastic barbeque on the terrace overlooking the lake.

Cornwall. The very word means holiday for most people. Sun, sea, and sweeping sands, towering cliffs and a million fascinating rock pools. Clowance lies in the centre of the Cornish peninsula between Falmouth and St Ives. On the trip down, visit the £86m Eden Project representing plant life from 4 corners of the world. 12 miles to the west of the resort you will find the famous medieval St Michaels Mount. Travel south and you reach Helford River and Mullion Cove. Go north to try surfing at a training school at St Ives Bay, or visit the Tate Gallery in the town. For children, visit Flambards Theme Park in nearby Helston. Clowance is the ideal place for a relaxed, family holiday; where you can choose to do as little or as much as you want.
