Suitable for players of all abilities it's ideally situated just over the border from Devon and very near to Plymouth. The Country Club complex has a wide range of facilities and is the perfect venue for both golfers and non-golfers alike.

The golf course

Conveniently located just over the Tamar Bridge in Cornwall, our Championship golf course offers stunning views of the River Tamar from the challenging but enjoyable par 72, 18-hole course. Designed by Martin Hawtree, the golf course has ten par fours, four par fives and four par threes and offers something to all players whatever your level of golf.

The course is maintained to a very high level and, due to its position, remains very playable the whole year round. With a mixture of flat and sloping fairways, elevated tees and greens, bunkers and water the course provides a wide variety of challenges whilst all the time providing enjoyment to players of all handicaps.

We have two types of membership available and both enable you to benefit from a 10% discount in the bars and restaurants.

Golf societies & golf breaks

Our golf course is situated alongside our conference and leisure facilities in the lovliest part of Cornwall making it the ideal venue for social or business events.

Golf societies are very welcome at China Fleet whether you are organising a large corporate day or a small society day we can tailor make a package to suit you.

Driving Range

We have a modern 28 bay floodlit driving range giving members and visitors the opportunity to work on their swing. The range is open every day from 7:30 until 8:30 (7:00 Sundays). Each bay is equipped with quality mats and tees. Clubs are available for hire from the Golf Shop next door to the range.

Golf tuition

Our two experienced professionals offer lessons to novices and professionals alike. From ½ hour lessons, 18 hole playing lessons or computerised video lessons our Professionals can offer something for all and if you are new to golf you don’t even need any equipment.

Our Junior Academy runs on a Saturday morning and all children are welcome – for more details please call the Golf Shop on 01752 854665.

Pro shop
